Child and Dependent Child Visas

Kangaroo in the wild

Child visa matters can feel especially sensitive because they involve family relationships, care arrangements and a child’s future. We approach these applications with care, explain what is required clearly, and help you prepare the documents and evidence needed for the pathway that best fits your circumstances.

Child visa subclasses 101 and 802

Permanent visas for eligible dependent children of Australian citizens, permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens. Subclass 101 is for children applying outside Australia, while subclass 802 is for children applying in Australia.

Dependent Child visa (subclass 445)

This visa allows an eligible dependent child to stay in Australia while their parent’s permanent Partner visa application is being processed.

We assist with Child and Dependent Child visa applications, including evidence of the child’s relationship to their parent and their dependency.
